The Rand Cup

Originally for a series of 3 races - 21ft Class - Inlet Course.

Charles D. Rand was a successful real estate broker and financier and the first president of the now-defunct Vancouver Stock Exchange. Charles died in 1914.

Tom and Vincent Ramsay were another pair of brothers who were keen racing skippers. Vincent gave his life in the First World War. He won the Rand Trophy Series sailing the Redskin in both 1912 and 1913. This trophy was later donated to the club in his memory as the Redskin Trophy by his mother.
